Hola, I’m Dr. María A. Torres.
I help professionals stop freezing and start speaking Spanish with confidence in the moments that matter: at work, in your community, and when you travel.
As a native Spanish speaker who has trained thousands of adults and professionals across industries, including U.S. Special Forces, through practical, high stakes communication training for 20 plus years, I’m now focused on reaching professionals who are ready to finally use Spanish in real life.
You will not get busywork or theory for theory’s sake. You will get a clear path, guided speaking practice, and direct feedback so Spanish becomes usable fast.
Why my approach is different: my academic and professional background shapes how I coach you. I bring a Doctorate in Spanish Language and Literature, three Master’s degrees in Education, North American Studies, and Spanish, plus dual bachelor’s degrees in Business and Teaching. That mix helps me build training that is structured like a plan, tailored to your field, and focused on real outcomes.
